Withdrawing, or failing to withdraw from the class will result in a W or FW and you will owe money to the college, as the VA will request a refund of tuition and fees from Ivy Tech.It is important to understand when you withdraw from the class, you must actually withdraw from the class via My Ivy or the Registrar’s office.When scheduling, adding, dropping, or switching classes, make sure you notify the VMBS to avoid overpayment or underpayment from the VA.The VA does not allow for benefits to be paid if not taken on campus. Remedial classes are non-college credit courses that start with a zero (0) like MATH 023, ENGL 083 or ENGL 093. The VA will only pay for remedial classes if there is evidence of an academic need.After two semesters you must select a major or you will not be able to use your GI Bill ®.
